NO. 33 GIN

CRANBERRY ORANGE SOUR

This seasonal martini has a perfect balance of sweet, citrus and spice. Fragrant evergreen, tart cranberry and earthy blood orange bring complexity to a classic sour.

Combine in a cocktail shaker:

  • 1 ½ oz Laneway No.33 Gin

  • 1 oz Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup*

  • ½ oz fresh blood orange juice (or substitute orange or grapefruit juice)

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

Add ice, shake to chill and strain through a fine mesh strainer into a cocktail coupe or sour glass.

*Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries

  • 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary

This is a versatile and easy to make syrup that is also makes a delicious mocktail with sparkling water.

Add water and sugar to a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add fresh cranberries and rosemary, then simmer for 15-20 minutes, until syrup has thickened and cranberries have “popped”. Allow to cool then strain into a covered glass jar. Store in the fridge.
